USA Champion Pedro Piedrabuena continued his assault on International 3-Cushion Billiards as he went to battle in the LG U+ Cup 3-Cushion Masters in Seoul Korea November 8-11. The invitation only event sponsored by Korean manufacturer LG boasts one of the largest cash payouts of any 3-cushion event in the world.

Sixteen of the world's best including ten Koreans and six of the top ranked from around the world meet in four groups of four round robin in the preliminary rounds of the LG U+ Cup. Only one player from each group advances to the semi-final round. The ultimate winner will receive a prize equivalent to $55,000!

Pedro Piedrabuena has been attending World Cup events consistently for the past two cycles and makes his first appearance in the invitational event in Seoul. The matches are being held in a shopping mall in Seoul which is both unusual and refreshing. Kozoom will be Live-Streaming to premium pass members.

Pedro suffered a crushing defeat in his first round game against one of the ultimate finalists Quyet Chien Tran of Vietnam. Although Pedro's play picked up in his later round games, he could not overcome the first round loss and was eliminated. Korean Choong-Bok Lee was the winner.
