Attention Room Owners : The USBA is looking for a place to hold the 2009 US National 3-Cushion Championships. We rotate the location each year, and for 2009 it is planned to be in the Northeast Region. The Nationals usually have between 32 and 50 players entered.
If you host this event, it is an excellent chance to get your local players more involved in top-level competition and to see the best players in the country. Please consider making a bid to be the host. Some details:
The USBA will arrange or provide:
• Simonis 300 cloth for each table (green or blue as requested)
• a set of Aramith spotted tournament balls for each table
• a tournament director to handle all scheduling and the chart
• player registration
• payouts of prize money
The room usually arranges or provides:
• at least four tournament-quality carom tables
• labor for recovering the tables shortly before the Nationals
• seating for spectators, such as bleachers
• information about local hotels
• added money for the prize fund
