Dave Van Lokeren wins the World Class Billiards Qualifier

Dave Van Lokeren went undefeated and qualified into the 2009 USBA Nationals in February at Carom Cafe Billiards in Flushing, NY. Joe DeAmato was also undefeated going into the last match against Dave. He finished 2nd and won $ 300.00 which he promptly paid for his entry into the Nationals as well.
Bob Page finished in 3rd place in the 8-player field.

Format: Round Robin
Maximum field of 18 players
Format: Based on 18 players there'll be 3 flights of 6 with the top 2 finishers going to a 6 man round robin final. Number of players in flights will be adjusted according to number of entries.
Winner will receive $500 package from USBA which will include the $300 entry fee into the Nationals along with $200 of expense money when player arrives at tournament.
For the first 6 players entered, one winner will advance to Nationals.
For the first 10 players entered, two winners will advance to Nationals.
For the first 15 players entered, three winners will advance to Nationals.
Dress code for tournament is black pants, vest, bow-tie, shoes and/or all black sneakers.
Players must be USBA members to participate.
First 18 players registered and paid will enter tournament. Entry fee must be paid by midnight Thursday, November 14, 2008.

Located across the street from billiard room. $99/night includes continental breakfast in morning. World Class Billiards will provide shuttle to and from hotel to billiard room first thing in the morning and after play ends on given day. There are other smaller motels in the same area that are definitely cheaper but not as comfortable.
