Nine of the best players in the game converged on Carom Café in Flushing, NY to have its annual “Winter Warm-up” for the 2007 National Championships to be held in Maywood, CA.

This year it was Miguel Torres who dominated the field with a perfect 8-0 record, a grand average of 1.371, the best game of 2.727 and a tie for the high-run of 8.

Mazin Shooni came in a strong 2nd place with a 7-1 record, a grand average of 1.199, a best game of 2.000 and a high-run of 7.

Sonny Cho was 3rd with a 5-3 record and a grand average of 1.005. Hugo Patino (4th, 1.186) Michael Kang (5th, .945) and Young Gull Lee (6th, .847) all had 4-4 records.

Trailing the field of superstars ahead of them were Jun Ho Lee ( .756), Jose Costa ( .651) and Jim Shovak ( .643).
